The proposed benefit

A VIP reservation would give you access to the CorkBot Kickstarter early-bird price during a dedicated launch window, even if the public early-bird allocation sells out. We propose a 48-hour window starting when the campaign launches.

The final package, early-bird price, eligible destinations, and exact window will be published before reservations open. You would need to make a Kickstarter pledge during that window to receive the offer. A reservation would not make a pledge for you.

One refundable payment

The proposed reservation is a single $5 USD payment through Stripe. It is not a subscription, a purchase of a CorkBot, or permission to charge you again later. Any future Kickstarter pledge is a separate payment at the amount displayed on Kickstarter.

The $5 would not be automatically deducted from a Kickstarter pledge. We plan to return it in full while retaining your VIP eligibility.

Our proposed refund policy

You would be able to request a full $5 refund at any time before the reservation is refunded by contacting hello@corkrobotics.com with your Stripe receipt reference.

We plan to initiate all remaining reservation refunds when the Kickstarter launches, if the launch is canceled, or by a fixed refund deadline. That deadline will be published before any payment is accepted. An automatic refund would not remove your VIP invitation.

Refunds would return to the original payment method. After a refund is initiated, banks commonly take 5–10 business days to show it. Cork Robotics would absorb payment-processing fees so that the refund is the full $5.

What a reservation would cover

The proposed benefit is access to a price during a defined window. It does not guarantee manufacturing completion, a delivery date, or shipping priority. We will explain campaign risks, shipping costs, taxes, and the final reward details before you pledge.

We will set the VIP reward capacity to cover the reservations we accept. The final mechanism and terms will be published before payments open.

Email and payment information

Stripe would process payment information and keep the reservation and refund records. Joining the free launch email list is a separate choice. A payment receipt email would not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. See the launch privacy notice.
